About Me

I am a graduate of the UCLA certificate program in college admissions counseling. I am committed to professional development and I stay up-to-date on college admissions practices.

•  I visit a minimum of 20 colleges a year. When I visit college campuses, I am able to speak with admissions officers and gain an understanding of the campus life and culture.
• I am a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) as well as the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling (WACAC) and I attend their annual industry conferences and participate in their member networks. 
• I attend the Cal State and University of California conferences annually.
• I attend college presentations and fairs.  
• I am an avid consumer of educational journals, podcasts, admissions blogs, college guides and books by notable industry authors.

I have enjoyed working with teenagers in a variety of educational and philanthropic settings through years of volunteer leadership within the local school district and the broader community. I especially love working with students to assist them with finding their unique path after high school. In addition, I understand the perspective of a parent shepherding a student through the college application process as I have been through it myself with my two daughters. My previous experience as a consultant helping clients to solve their product development and marketing challenges has contributed to my ability to truly listen to the needs of each client and guide them through a custom plan for success.
